Aged 6 years because boy did this taste hot fresh. While I only got 10 sediment free ounces out of the bottle it was smooth but definitely spicy with hints of the chest warming heat. Very nice for the ABV.

2017 bottling. Raisin, barley, walnut, cashew. Very malty, oak, boozy, light vanilla.

This bottle was cellared for 4 1/2 years... It aged fantastically well!

6/3/7/3/3.6 Malty release could be mistaken for a malty old ale in decline. Very warm blend of caramel, sherry, and toffee with a thick finish. ABV very apparent but unlike many malt liquors actually drinkable.

From Friday night, GET HO HO HO! eve. Starting strong. 2017 vintage, think it got better with age. Malt liquor, bourbon, finishes caramel, vanilla.

Almost a Barley Wine now! Sweet finish. Better than fresh in my opinion. Bottled 7/03/17.

Last time I had this it was a 3.75. Now I’m giving it a 4.5. It has mellowed over the 5 years I’ve had it. Nice caramel taste now. Smooth
