Sameahko ja rusehtava. Pohjalla makea maissikalja, mutta lähinnä alkoholi ja tynnyri/bourbon maistuu. Pikkulasi olisi ok, vähän tökkii.

Just tastes like a bottle of bourbon, so not too shabby. No malt character, no hops, just barrel only.

Doftar svagt bourbon och äpple - lite som pommac. Tunn, besk, söt och ganska spritig. De 14,2% märks av. Skulle nog inmundigats tidigare. Från ett ölsläpp i september 2017.

CD 26/06/17. Geur moutig, caramel, aardig wat bourbonbooze, wat eik, wat vanille, barleywine-ish. Smaak sluit aan, erg zoet en ook suikerig, wat herbale/droppige tonen, helaas iets teveel scherpe/brandende alcoholkick, maar het kan net. Fraai overeind!

6/3/7/3/3.6 Malty release could be mistaken for a malty old ale in decline. Very warm blend of caramel, sherry, and toffee with a thick finish. ABV very apparent but unlike many malt liquors actually drinkable.

Something else! Very dominate barrel, like drinking a bourbon. Warming up, The sharpness eases up a bit.

The most I can say about this one is that it's no worse than it was 3 years ago. Still too sweet for me.

Aroma a malta, a bollo. Color amarillo oscuro turbio. En boca muy agradable a pesar del pelotazo de alcohol. Muy integrada, muy interesante, repetiría.

Three years in the cellar, tastes like a nicely aged barley wine.

A couple years of aging have done this one well. Much smoother and very sweet. Definitely has a maltier profile with some honey and barrel comes through nicely

Barrel Aged Advent Calendar Day #22. Sweetness and bourbon in the aroma. Taste has sweetness from the corn which is balanced by the bourbon and oak from the barrel aging. Medium-full body with a lower amount of carbonation. 3.75/5

It's hard to find the abv figure on the bottle, but you soon find out on drinking. It's extremely smooth and well balanced though.

14.5% for $3 and in a 16oz pint glass....we're in for a night. Sweet malt, boozy, with a touch of caramel and licorice

More Mature Malt Liquor than was enjoyed from my youth….definitely will enjoy again!
