Pretty old bomber. Sweet corn. Smooth, but strong bourbon/ barrel finish. Killswitch Engage - Alive or Just Breathing (May 2002)

A standby nightcap which unfortunately I understand will no longer be brewed. Unusual base for a BA brew, but it works pretty well, just not enough to cover all the alcohol blast. Flavorful and powerful.

Outra diferentona. Menos amarga e extrema que a double bastard mas se enquadra no mesmo grupo de cervejas polarizantes...e ao mesmo tempo interessantes. Boozy!

Powering through some late-night work and this helps along with the metal! This 3YO+ brew has morphed into a potent, yet somewhat smooth BA cornmeal of a beer. One of my all-time fave Founders releases just because of what it is...and still good!

Round aroma with notes of vanilla, wood, bourbon and slightly acidic malty notes. Round medium rich / rich mouthfeel. Taste of vanilla, bourbon and oak. Quite sweet, but not unpleasant. Some light fruity notes. Warming, yet not extremely boozy.

At 14.2% it taste strong in alcohol, this is not for beginners lol 😆 😅

This beer was brewed in 2016, and as new is was very boozy, but now after 6 years it is as port or sherry 😋

Faint apple scent, boozy taste up from that lingers with the good burn in the throat. Very thick consistency.

This is one of my favorite Founders ales. The name is quite fitting - malt liquor. At 14.2 ABV, it’s definitely a ‘liquor’. Last of my 4 pack!
