I had 2 left. I thought I had one. So one of them is going down tonight. Underrated beer. Gimmick, yea. Good? Fuck yes!

Something else! Very dominate barrel, like drinking a bourbon. Warming up, The sharpness eases up a bit.

Trust Founders to do their thing, but it's still a malt liquor. Malty, sweet in a not great way, but it sure is entertaining.

Faint apple scent, boozy taste up from that lingers with the good burn in the throat. Very thick consistency.

Love this beer, and with an awesome dinner: butter basted steak with parmesan roasted beans and summer squash with herb aioli

This isn’t really a beer. It’s a craft-brewed attempt at a malt liquor, which makes me call it a “bourbon lite”. If I want that, I’ll buy a bourbon, but it was an interesting concept. I just don’t need it again.

A standby nightcap which unfortunately I understand will no longer be brewed. Unusual base for a BA brew, but it works pretty well, just not enough to cover all the alcohol blast. Flavorful and powerful.

Might as well, it's not gonna get any better! Plus it sounded good since I'm watching Peaky Blinders.

The most I can say about this one is that it's no worse than it was 3 years ago. Still too sweet for me.

Aroma a malta, a bollo. Color amarillo oscuro turbio. En boca muy agradable a pesar del pelotazo de alcohol. Muy integrada, muy interesante, repetiría.

A little sweet which covers the high ABV, lots of bourbon and oak flavors. Not super smooth, but it is an imperial malt liquor after all. Definitely makes this dumpster fire of a debate go down easier. (2017 vintage)

Three years in the cellar, tastes like a nicely aged barley wine.
