Subtle coffee, chocolate, and barrel aging. If an 11% beer can be mellow, itโs this. Real nice.

Flavors work together well for such a big beer. Bourbon is subtle. Coffee and vanilla lead the way.

Thatโs really good! Coconut, chocolate, a bit of boozy heat. Some coffee in the finish, along with the bourbon.

This is a terrific imperial brown ale. Lots of coffee notes. Ridiculously smooth and creamy for an 11 banger. Picking up some peanuts as well. Very nice.

Smooth up front, nutty, lotsa chocolate and sweetness from vanilla. I like the coffee bitterness on the finish. From my Belmonts beer club!!

> 4.00 < 4.25 very coffee forward. Vanilla and some sweetness come out as it warms. Not much bourbon barrel.

Excellent like most of Founder's BA offerings. Lots of coffee but not really as creamy as expected with the milk sugar. Lighter than most of their BA beers as would be expected of a brown ale.
