Bourbon and sweetness. It’s an interesting flavor profile for sure.

It's a cup of coffee with just the right amount of cream, sugar, and cocoa.

Dry finish, kind of thin. More like a barley wine. Nice amount of barrel flavor.

Coffee, chocolate malt, vanilla. Very flavorful for a brown ale.

A barrel aged that didn’t burn going down, didn’t think it existed! Quite tasty!

Very tasty, if you told me it was a stout, I'd believe you. Very balanced, if anything could use more bourbon presence, not too sweet, solid

All chocolate. Sweet. Thinnish body. Hints of coffee and vanilla

Amazingly smooth chocolate pallet taste that actually taste like, you know, chocolate. Excellent balance with zero boozy taste, and quite sweet for its offering, making it go down wonderfully.

Boozy smell and taste. You know it’s 11%. Some days, you need 11%

Coffee essence, but not any harshness and low bitterness, pretty smooth.

I haven't liked many of Founders recent Barrel Series beers. They've been too sweet. Was worried this would be as well because it had a very strong chocolate smell. But the taste is much more coffee forward. It's actually balanced pretty well!

Enjoyed this "light" brown to start our post game last night after a Boomsticks loss.
