Un lío, o una batalla de poder entre la madera del barril, el dulzor del sirope y una acidez de la cereza temprana, pero sin terminar de armonizar, aún así está bien. Debí dejarla más tiempo en la despensa para que se hermanaran sus componentes?

Start of the sip reminds me of Dippy’s Bulleit Mint Juleps. Cherry-forward in the middle and end. Reminiscent of port wine. VERY fruity, sweet. Tastes like strawberry mango blank tea from TPumps. Cool color, would not drink a lot of it — seems dangerous.

BB 2017. You get those cherry and maple syrup flavours coming through nicely, but a bit too sweet and time + the booziness has it verging on cough syrup.

Woah. That's a lot of fruit. They coulda warned me! From 2017, apparently. Why have I had this so long? Tasted very fermented. Loads of maple syrup and a bit of the barrel. Sourness is faded.

Cherry is balanced very well against ale base beer. The maple adds just a bit of sweet to settle the traditional tartness of cherry. Drinks very easy. Well done Founders.
