Strong, immediate flavours. Cherry! Cinammon! Wood! Soouurrr... Kinda a little harsh all together, especially at the back of the throat.

Beer Geek Konfekt b

That smell! Is incredible! Like when you first open a box of liqueur chocolates after you get a box from your students at Christmas. Taste is a bit sweet for the complex promise of the smell. Marischino.

Riesling People b

Sweeter and less complex than the others. Might be more of a crowd pleaser. Apricot, soft.

Nelson Sauvignon / Sauvin Brut b

Bready, Bretty nose. But actually it's kinda amazing. Red apple skin, funk, wood, wine, vanilla... Quite an experience. Finishes a bit schlocky and woody.

Big Worse (2007) b

Raisins! No carbonation. Vanilla raisins, rum raisin, raisin pudding. Getting earthy. Hiding alcohol (where did it go?), super smooth.

Oude Geuze Boon Black Label Edition N°9 b

Surprisingly fresh nose. Melony. Smooth but a little uncomplex.

Carignan (2022) b

Refreshing, smooth, bit more simple but also just simply delicious. Red grape featured strongly. Finish is just a bit too simple.

Cantillon Grenache Blanc (2022) b

Vinous smell. Pudgy middle. And smooth. Kinda funky at the end, bit of dirt.

Fou' Foune b

Smooth! Apricots galore but kinda green ones.

Single Barrel 1-Year Lambic b

Straight from the barrel, without the bottle fermentation. Flat. I know this isn't the correct brew to check in.

Rosé de Gambrinus b

Still love the finish on this one.

Kriek Mariage Parfait (2021) b

This is supposed to be a nightcap. Very perfumey. Maybe it should have been consumed sooner.

Rosé De Gambrinus (2022) b

That's an intense raspberry aroma. Heavenly, even. Taste is drier than you might expect but maybe the most sweat inducing of the bunch. Jammy, but like real jam, not the made up stuff they sell in stores. A bit perfumey (lavender?) and finishes that way.

Saint Lamvinus b

Lucky us! They just tapped the last two. This was intensely barnyardy to me just off the pour. Like, wow, that was really wild. It calms down. Very winey but without the tannins. To me, it's unique and fascinating.

Nath (2022) b

The least revalatory of the cantillons here, but still delicious. Rhubarb comes out after sitting out for a few minutes but it's still fairly even throughout the whole taste experience.

Kriek 100% Lambic b

Incredible finish. Cherry start isn't as distinctive or individual as some of the local cherry expressions but the dessery, almost cake like finish is neato completo.

Classic Gueuze b

A bit oily and minerally, when side by side to the heavier hitting sour tastes of the other ones. Some banana cake, granite.

Sang Bleu (2022) b

Thicker and tannic. Haskap sorta dominates it all, like being hit by a wall. Less complex an end.

Zwanze 2022 - Poivre de Gorilles b

Pepper, chevril, mashed banana, and pocari sweat. Delicious.

Limbo Yuzu b

Great smell! Initial citrus hit is good but it flashes out pretty quickly. Almost manages to taste non non alcoholic. A bit too sweet but I'd drink this. #videobeerish

Henry Gose Lightly b

Surprisingly thick for one of these and the sourness holds down the finish. Very much sweet n sour sauce. Our first #dryuary #videobeer

Non Alcoholic b

Super transparent. Very clean, but yes, a tinge of the ol skunk. #dryuary

Gueuze 100% Lambic Bio b

#gueuze2gueuze Still the king, but the kind of chill king who's all like "sure, I might be the most powerful person in the room, but I'll let you do all the talking".

Limbo Raspberry b

Pretty sweet, but I've always liked the way the mikkeller NA sours seem to try to be in a category of their own, rather than just trying to make beer and then take away the alcohol.

Limbo - Riesling b

Don't remember it quite thus super sweet. Almost candy like in grapiness. It's something else.

Frootwood b

Woah. That's a lot of fruit. They coulda warned me! From 2017, apparently. Why have I had this so long? Tasted very fermented. Loads of maple syrup and a bit of the barrel. Sourness is faded.

Limbo - Riesling b

White grape juice up front. Lots of wine. Carbonation quickly disappeared, leaving a kinda apple cider.

So much passion... Fruit. And orange. Definitely goes for the tropicals. Creamy mouthfeel. Wish it was a bit more bitter. It's very sweet. And, see, there's cheese here.

All Day IPA b

Clean up front with some orange citrus. Finish is a bit cardboardy/dusty. Surprisingly malty nose. Pretty light overall with a bitter, fairly non-descript hop.

Rosé de Gambrinus b

Perfect gooey and/or sharp cheese beer. Great balance.

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2018) b

Booze and Molasses. Maple syrup, definitely. Smooth enough, I suppose, but really sweet. Liked that CA better.
