Charred bourbon soaked oak on the nose with a slightly tart aroma. Taste is different as I haven't had anything similar before. I like it. Taste is what cherry wood smells like. Smoky Oak. Bourbon. Vanilla. Tart Cherry. A bitter aftertaste.

Founders nunca falla, menuda tarta de cerezas líquida se ha marcado. Una Ale con cerezas envejecida en barricas de bourbon y sirope. Le da una personalidad que no he encontrado en ninguna otra cerveza ya que mezcla todos los sabores de miedo.

Doing things with cherries? Drink a cherry beer. Was wondering how the maple syrup would taste with this, but it works. Another solid offering from Founders.

Finishing this Friday off with Stranger Things and Frootwood. Over the top sweetness is the main thing I notice. There are subtle hints of tart cherry and maple syrup. The bourbon kick is pretty mellow. Not a fan.

Something different. Cherry, but also heavy and not overly sweet. I am unsure of my opinion on this. Five more over time will change that.

Christmas is July at Eddie's with Founders. Overall impression is that of a sweet cherry Berliner Weisse but that really doesn't do it justice. The vanilla note smooths out the tart cherry flavor. The oak is a nice spice note to add to the complexity

Normally I like cherry but this not so much. Bottle isn't the freshest so maybe I'll update the judgement if I can get a fresh taste.
