Never thought I’d ever score a Founder’s so low…the concept is there and the potential is immense. However there is a strange rounded butteriness that is almost nauseating. I’m having a hard time with this one…

I think I liked this more in theory than in execution. It’s so sweet and fruity it borders on tasting like a mixed drink with a goofy name. I get no bourbon, little syrup, just an artificial cherry flavor. Pass on a second round.

My wife picked me up some of this for my birthday, she knows me too well! Cherry, bourbon and maple syrup, yes please!

Best beer I’ve ever had from Founders! I’m impressed with how smooth and well-balanced it is. Nice notes of cherry and maple syrup. #BFL

Here’s a beer with the thickness of cherry nectar, with that sweetness enhanced by vanilla, maple, & bourbon, & cut by the distinct woody taste of the barrels. Complex layers of flavor, and 8% ABV to help you think about that.

Very sweet and boozy. Tastes of vanilla and a little maple. No discriminate fruit flavors. No cherry.

Really excellent! But still missing a touch of something. More maple? More vanilla? Experimentation may be called for!
