Very good… definitely allow it to warm to an appropriate temp to realize the subtle flavors. Recommended 👍

Lots of cocoa/chocolate and a hint of cinnamon. Having a hard time finding any vanilla. It’s fairly warm compared to other KBS beers. While it still holds its own this variant is a bit of a miss for me.

The best of the KBS series. Possibly one of the best imperial stouts I've ever tasted

The cinnamon detracts from the normal kbs goodness a bit, but still pretty good.

The alcohol is a little intense at the start. The cocoa is the predominant flavor with only a hint of vanilla.

Very nice. Almost overly spiced on the first sip, but mellows out nicely as you drink. Rich and creamy and full of flavor.

Don't get much coffee out of it. A run of the mill KBS variant - not great but could be worse

Not a fan. Founders has placed to much emphasis on high ABV versus flavor. Way to strong, taste coffee with some vanilla. Strong aftertaste for me.

Ties the maple mackinac fudge for my favorite. Amazing. Get it now. Smells like pancakes

Love the cinnamon-fronted nose that leads straight into the first flavors atop the body and then sinks down into the cocoa and turns into an upswing in a vanilla breathed finish. Not over-done. Mackinaw might still be the preferred variant but this is ⬆️

Pour it & took a sip. Pretty good. Let it warm / another sip / even better. Let it warm some more. Wow. Really good! Then: All of the flavors come thru: cinnamon, vanilla, cocoa & (of course) Boubon Barrel. This is a top notch Barrel Aged Stout.

Forward coffee flavor is the first thing that hits, followed by some cinnamon and finishing with a hot cocoa like taste, very interesting

Second one was slightly better. Taking recycles in the morning so thought I'd get rid of the bottle. Lol
