Even if it wasn't the first beer after completing a marathon, which I always rate as five stars, this would still be a five Star beer. Consistently rated one of the best in the world and it shows

Dark chocolate and espresso up front with hints of vanilla and barrel on back. Incredible brew.

Hot damn this is good. True espresso taste, not too roasty or malty, nice chocolate finish, all of which balances out the barrel finish well

Amazingly rich brew. The chocolate and bourbon blend well together for the right level of sweetness. Maybe a 3.375 if I could.

The espresso is what KBS needed. Something to tamp down the sweet.
