Not particularly a fan of the style, but the brown ale is ALWAYS better barrel aged. This is no exception. Chocolate, coffee and vanilla on every sip. The barrel is more present as it warms up. Outstanding offering by Founders π»π»π»π

Really sipable for an imperial brown ale. A bit nutty on the nose and effervescent throughout.

Chuck R. This is listed as 2021 as opposed to the one you checked in without a vintage. Almost a hard cream soda. Taste vanilla and very subtle bourbon. ABV very well cloaked.11%? Never guess. No booziness or alcohol burn. Malt is lost in other flavors

Subtle coffee, vanilla and bourbon. Not boozy. Not really malty either but smooth. Good brown.

Dark roasted and toasted malts a bit nutty semi sweet cocoa coffee vanilla a flash of bourbon full bodied let it warm a little in the glass to open up.

Sweet, creamy, vanilla, and bourbon. Easy to drink. Quick to the head.
