#9983. Funny seeing the wide range of ratings on this one. You either love the geuze or you don’t.

A dangerous check-in for #9977 given only 17 people have done so. Still, had to include such an amazing beer in the final countdown. Super malty with a call out to Curmudgeon in its profile even though it’s a TIPA. Can’t detect the 112 IBUs.

The face of Untappd whoring. Take a beer style that can’t possibly be good but hope that it is because it’s done by a great brewery. All to get get one step closer to that next level on Wheel of Styles…

What to say. I love Founders Backwoods Bastard. I love a pancake loaded with syrup and cinnamon can be fun too. Not sure I want it all in my Backwoods Bastard, but it is tasty nonetheless. The Big Guy.

Bourbon Barrel Oak Aged Vanilla World Wide Stout
Not bad for a vanilla infusion. Far right.

I Iove Founders, Marzens, and BBA beers. Yet this doesn’t quite do it for me. The vanilla aspect of bourbon barreling is focused more than anything else.

The MBA is complete! Thanks to Anne Marie and Armand for backing me the entire way through.

Not a hazelnut person per se, but this was not really intrusive to my sensibilities. Long live KBS and all of its variants!!

What an interesting beer. Earthy and spicy as described by others is accurate. It’s got a West Coast hop vibe combined with an almost festive spiciness with the tiniest hint of Belgian yeast plus lemon on the nose.

Booze heaven. I almost forgot how boozy it was because it normally hides it so well.

I really want to hate this beer because of the persistent sweetness in the background, but the brewers did such a good job getting vanilla, syrup and bourbon to work.

Lots of coffee, and LOTS of yeast. Sweet for a black IPA, but not unpleasant.
