Rich and decadent. A very good Imperial Stout. Very well balanced as the blueberry is not overpowering. Just a hint of the bourbon barrel. Another solid Founder's beer.

This tastes like an alcoholic bottle of maple syrup. I love Backwoods Bastard, but this version is far too sweet for my taste

Not bad. Aroma is probably a bit better than the flavor but the hazelnut comes on strong after.

You just can't go wrong with KBS. Still plenty of dark notes with the definite presence of hazelnut. Not sweet at all more of a bitter chocolate vibe. Very good.

Chuck R. This is listed as 2021 as opposed to the one you checked in without a vintage. Almost a hard cream soda. Taste vanilla and very subtle bourbon. ABV very well cloaked.11%? Never guess. No booziness or alcohol burn. Malt is lost in other flavors
