Hoppy and sweet hazy. Juicy but the sweetness kind of overwhelms.

Tropical juice smoothie. Strawberry and guava with some pineapple flavor. Not bad at all.

Kalas DIPA Rite

Like a hoppy homebrew in the best way. Lots of hops with tons of aroma and flavor. Smooth and easy.

Aecht Rite

Smoke nose with a milder smoke flavor. Not bad. Rich but a bit thin. Easy to drink.

Diffuse Light Rite

Juicy and smooth IPA. Very easy to drink. Glad we found this little place and… 20% off today so it’s probably cheaper than half the city.

Mumbo Jumbo #1: Passion Fruit, Guava, Raspberry Rite

If you’d told me this was a tropical juice smoothie mixed with some tart fruits, I’d have thought nothing of it. Tart and tropical fruit, thick and juicy.

Finally slowing down after a lot of running over the past two weeks. Of course, the hotel has no power. Or course, the hotel has no water. But recon done and we’ve found the check in for tomorrow. Nice barleywine with a little muted character. Not bad.

Rich and thick. Boozy, coconut, with a sweet finish.

Palo Santo Marron (2012) Rite

Oh, this one is different than I was expecting. Cocoa and some interesting hop notes. The woodsy flavor has really faded. Reminds me of a porter with a ton of pale chocolate and dehusked roast malts.

Kirsch the Sky Rite

Like a mild Schwarzwälder Kuchen with more alcohol and malt. Really nice.

Nice and French toasty, lots of malt, with a boozy finish.

Absolute Magnitude Rite

Soft, smooth, juicy, very easy to drink. Citrus and a hint of resin.

Imposter Syndrome Rite

Grapefruit with pine resin and a fistful of dank. Assertive bitterness.

75 Minute IPA Rite

Nice bitterness and lots of West Coast hoppy goodness. The cask makes it soft and brings out some of the subtle notes.

Where the Four Winds Dwell Rite

Citrusy, pine resin, subtle floral notes, a hint of nuttiness on the back of the finish. Nice bitterness throughout.

Caffé E Panna Rite

Roast, toast, coffee, nutty, vanilla, sweetness, malt. Really tasty.

Olde School (2016) Rite

Well aged with lots of hoppy aroma up front. Tasty with some deep richness and malt, hops still apparent, a touch of bitterness.

Red & White (2016) Rite

Freshly tapped at DFH. Wine notes but not a lot of wit character left. Not bad but not something I’d want a lot of.

The Cranfather Rite

A bit boozy with a lot of cranberry and some cherry. Sweet and malty. Thick and rich.

Utopias Barrel-Aged 120 Minute IPA Rite

A fine decision that could lead to poor ones. Or is it pour ones? Hoppy but not overboard. Booze and caramel. Malt and sweetness. Super smooth and drinks like a beer half its weight.

90 Minute Imperial IPA Rite

Always a good beer, especially when it’s fresh from the source! Glad that Jenny B. can sample it in DE, as well.

World Wide Stout Rite

This is ALWAYS so damn good. Mild roast, cocoa, booze.

Edel Pils Rite

Very enjoyable. A bit hoppier than its German counterpart but so good.

Very enjoyable on cask. Mild with just enough hoppiness.

Light and Pilsner-y. Grass notes and some nice tropical fruit and mild grapey notes. Glad to enjoy it with Kathleen M. and Jenny B.

Deep Cut IPA Rite

Nicely bitter. Good west coast. Resin and pine and a hint of citrus.

You're Bugging the Hell Out of Me! Rite

Maybe a hint of heat and some fruitiness. Nice roasty and ash notes.

DelaWeAre ESB Rite

Smooth and very ESB-ish. Well made. Great on cask and nitro.

Oak-Aged Vanilla World Wide Stout (2017) Rite

Vanilla, oak, cocoa, mild roast, sweetness, malty, smooth, rich, and decadent. Glad to share with Kathleen M. and Jenny B.

Nashi Raga Rite

A bit of sweetness with the pears. Mild cinnamon and ginger. Crackers and grain. A little bitterness at somewhat dry finish.

Spiral Nebula Rite

Solid hazy. Nicely hopped with citrus, dankness, a little resin, and a smooth bitterness.

Pennsylvania Tuxedo Rite

Definitely better on draft. Lots of malt and some resin notes. Well balanced toward bitter. Really digging it.

Indian Brown Rite

It’s been 10 years since I’ve had this one. This one is a lot better than the last ones! Nice bitterness and not over the top roasty.

Bendy Parts (2023) Rite

Fruity, ginger-y, tart. A fun beer to try. And a very happy birthday to Kathleen M.‘s progeny. Cheers to the next few quarter centuries!

Covered In Nuggs Rite

Very enjoyable with a nice malt note after the mildly dank, citrus, and resin notes. A good solid bitterness, as well.

Tasty Traveler Lager Rite

Flavorful Mexi lager and salt and lime. Not bad at all! Someone said something about a stepped up Corona.

Eightfold Math Rite

Lime, ginger, salt, tart, and a hint of sweetness.

On the Down Low Rite

2010s West Coast IPA malt bill and hop profile with an East Coast haze thrown in. Almost cosmopolitan. Or maybe what beer would’ve been if folks hadn’t have cared about filtering in 2012? Not bad!

In the Darkness Below Rite

A bit more caramel than last time. Like a creamy salted caramel Rolo. Only better. It’s lower in abv but tastes pretty damn good.

Oloroso Sherry Barrel-Aged 120 Minute IPA Rite

Definitely getting the sherry. Very smooth and not nearly as sweet as I was expecting. This would be dangerous in quantity since it drinks like a 7% even though it IS boozy tasting. A paradoxical beverage. Glad to share with Kathleen M.

Always amazing! Caramel and just the right bitterness. Smooth and entirely too easy to drink for a 17% beer!

Nutty with tropical notes. Solid bitterness and not overly sweet. Really nice.

Czech 1, 2.. Rite

A very tasty Pilsner. Quite “czech” as well. Wishing for a hint more hops but that’s just me. Well done.

Bière De Coupage: Le Botaniste Rite

Fun beer with lots of sourness and some spiciness, as well. Not the usual kettle sour, for sure.

Nice tropical hops. Good bitterness that’s very easy to drink.

Lots of cocoa and a little cherry. Not bad at all. Wishing for a bit more of everything. Especially at the price!

Good beer but didn’t get the cocoa, pepper, or spices. Smooth and easy drinking but wishing I’d have gotten more of the Mexican influences.

302 Lager Rite

Has a definite “shit! The fuzz is here! Toss the stash in the mash!” quality. But in a good way. Sweet, smooth, crisp, and easy to drink.

Life Before Memes Rite

A nice take on a tmave. Light and refreshing but just enough roast to make it not the usual Pilsner.

Utopias Barrel-Aged 120 Minute IPA Rite

Wow. That sums this up. Hoppy but super smooth. Malty and bitterness are spot on. Sweetness is perfect for a good barleywine. So tasty! Highly recommended. Handle with care!

World Wide Stout - Bourbon Barrel Aged Rite

This is so good. Boozy and sweet with plenty of malty and roasty goodness. Smooth and way too easy to drink.

Beer for Breakfast Rite

Nice and coffee-y with plenty of roast. Just sweet enough to be very well balanced. A very easy to drink coffee stout.

On tap and small batch! Really a nice look at the recent past and evolution of the style. Hoppy, aromatic, a hint of malty sweetness.

60 Minute IPA Rite

Found a bottle that had aged just a little. Bottled in December 2009. Surprisingly, zero off flavors. Absolutely no hop character other than a hint of bitterness. It did have a bit of sediment, though. Not sure why Kathleen M. said she didn’t want any?

90 Minute Imperial IPA Rite

Another find. This one was only 10.5 years old, though. No hops, a little sweetness, a hint of bitterness. This one has a ton of compacted sediment. Should’ve shared it with Kathleen M.

Wake Up World Wide Stout (2022) Rite

Oh wow. So good. Tons of stouty goodness with some solid coffee notes. Recommended!

Nice chocolate notes and some subtle saltiness. Very enjoyable!

Tree Thieves Rite

To have no hops, this beer is nicely bitter. Very nice caramel, malt, and some je ne sais quoi. Quite enjoyable.

Funky, a little dry, some great malt notes, and well balanced.

Not bad. Aroma is probably a bit better than the flavor but the hazelnut comes on strong after.

Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2022) Rite

May have fallen off a notch from its previous glory but damn, for $16 a four pack? The best bargain in BBA stouts. Rich, chocolate, coffee, vanilla, and tons of cocoa. Malt and roast and just plain deep. Maybe it’s not quite as good but it’s still great!

KBS Espresso Rite

This one’s good! Strong coffee and chocolate notes and some great booze and alcohol in the middle then finishes sweet and roasty. Malt backbone is huge with some toast and spiciness. Recommended!
