What a strange trip. The espresso scrapple nose comes across as bedeviled Mexican hot peppers. Light cocoa and dense dark coffee meld inexplicably with the scrapple to create a flavor that is both harmonic and dissonant at the same time.

Does not age well. The scrapple flavor when fresh was great. At this point, it’s a mediocre stout/porter with liquid smoke.

This one brings back so many memories of 2016. My 21st year. This one is sweet with flavors of coffee and syrup. Maybe a little saltiness from the scrapple.

Nice and coffee-y with plenty of roast. Just sweet enough to be very well balanced. A very easy to drink coffee stout.

Not a thing wrong with beer for breakfast…heavy on the coffee and some savory notes from the scrapple and the tiniest bit of maple sweetness. Delicious! 🍻

Fawk the naysayers. I love this brew. Roasty chicory stout with scrapple, spices, maple syrup, and cold brew coffee. What’s not to love?
