Held up incredible. Not divulging my source but they have more and I may go back. Gonna give some time for this one to warm up but it’s super as-is.

Hoppy but smooth with a complexity and depth to it. Nice, but booooozy lol Been R. T M. there is that arrow…remind me what that means again? 😂

Well aged with lots of hoppy aroma up front. Tasty with some deep richness and malt, hops still apparent, a touch of bitterness.

It’s good but not as good as it should be, may have sat on it a bit too long and it’s in the decline. So it goes.

I like that boozy caramel toffee flavor.

Hops have faded so I like it better now. Would like it to be sweeter for my current preference.

I'm definitely getting more of the dark fruit notes but there is still a definite heat that won't go away.

I followed their instructions! Unfortunately forgot where I put the map of where I dug the hole. Took 6 years to finally find!

Fantastic. big on molasses now, getting some cocoa/coffee as well that I don't recall fresh. Light bitterness/spicy alcohol. Mild increasing booze. This might be peaking now. Better than i reviewed in 2014. Very clean sipper. Medium body. Not too sweet

Wow again. Another out of production beer from 2016. Pure Beer Heaven again. A smooth 15 percent.

Post-ride/run/ride beer (left phone at home when I rushed to the beach, which changed my plans to hang there for the day — didn’t even swim). How often will I be in the mood for a 15% barleywine that plays-up the dried fruit? Who knows, but I have 3 more.

Round 2 - Catch up - Nothing quite like it at all. Ginger, toffee, pine, oak, cherrywood, and sugared and spiced barley notes with a slight smoked hop kick throughout. Plums and raisins with a bourbon kick. Well done

Might be my favorite barley of all time. Cellars so well, but lost out tonight, for me, to Bigfoot 2008

I don't get some of the bad reviews. It's really good. It aged nicely, but still has a good kick. Sip slowly & enjoy. Thanks again Andy K.

I've been holding onto this since 2017 and figured it was finally time to open it up. It was way too hot back when I first had it and there is still a bit of heat but it has definitely mellowed. Could honestly have sat longer lol.
