I agree with John P. This definitely got better with age!

12% brown ale, rarely ever served on tap. Only getting better with age. Fucking AMAZEBALLS!

Roasty and boozy, molasses and fig flavors, woody with a mild sweet

Aged 11+yrs. Nose is fairly tame w/ oak & no signs of age. Weirdly none. Rich, carbed, tobacco-y, slight sweetness & smooth. This could easily age much longer. Glad I have more.

If you like cocoa, this is for you. A smooth first sip, it then chocolate-y the rest of the drink. So very good and a great finish to this flight.

Oh, this one is different than I was expecting. Cocoa and some interesting hop notes. The woodsy flavor has really faded. Reminds me of a porter with a ton of pale chocolate and dehusked roast malts.

Extremely smooth after 10 years! Woody, almost no alcohol. Really mild compared to fresh. Almost two entirely different beers

So…bought this for moving. Moved it, enjoyed a few, thought I’d finished. Until you realize you left one behind. Feared dead, but very much alive. There’s some cola hints here, and a lot of PS wood character. Once better, but still remarkable at 10.

Dark, aromas of Cola Slurpee, herbed spiciness, big, woody, Toffee & anise root, elixir-like. Thanks Soniq S.!

Still got a good boozy, buzz…. tho flavors are intense with a watery backdrop, nice linger on the wood flavor. Last 2012.
