Not getting ipa at all. More like a barrel aged barleywine which happens to have a slight bitter finish.

I like this beer more and more. 2018 has held up well. Strong booze profile with a solid oak taste. The caramel has faded some, but this was good.

Had this in my beer fridge longer than I’d care to admit. Had it last night and I was very pleasantly surprised. Worth the wait. Probably even better if I had it within a year of purchase! Brewed on date is 4/16/18. Shameful.

Um Porrada…licorosa, álcool bem presente, no aroma barril, malte, caramelo, na boca amargor persistente, adocicado caramelo, barril, uma cerveja que demonstra toda sua potência, onde os fracos não tem vez!

Not rating since this is apparently 4 years old -good thing I was just trying my dads beer

Continues to age well - sticky sweet - dank, caramel, burnt orange and boozy.

карамель, дубовые бочки + бурбон, на выходе 12° мощно, убойно, но восхитительное

Un corpo bello pesante che nasconde bene l'alcool con delle note calde di caramello.

I’ll try anything from Founders. I must admit the hops of the IPA go well with barrel aging. You’d never guess it was 12.2% ABV

Okay, so this beer tricked me. Super HOT red ale. Pretty close to barleywine, malty and full bodied

A jewel from the basement: 2018 version (with a 2019 BBD, ridiculously put on the bottle by the former importing company…). Minimum carbonation left, great oak nose, perfectly balanced, boozyness reduced compared to the fresh version, maximum complexity.

Smooth, refined, hops shine though the barrel aging slightly. Lovely and packs a punch.
