Sweet cherry, toasted oak, vanilla, bourbon and maple. It is a very good beer rounded out at a satisfying 8% abv. Founders is just a cut above most

Lots of cherry syrup. Some oxidized notes next to the oak, a touch of vanilla and barrel complexity. Batch 1 was better ;)

Vanilla, bourbon, maple, a cherry tartness. Semisweet and tart finish.

Pours a clear cherry red, white lacing, no surprise there. The nose is wonderful cherry, sugary. The maple and the wood balance out what would otherwise be an overly cherry affair. Oak and maple turn it into cherry syrup with some bourbon warmth. Grand.

Super fruity- and very strong taste! Finish is clean. Works on its own as a sipper or with food.

A beer of subtleties. All of the subtle amounts of bourbon, barrel, cherry and maple syrup add up to a great beer. Glad that founders made even more of this.

A nice tinge of cherry. Slightly tart but mainly BBA creaminess with a touch of sweetness. Another unsurprising homerun from Founders.

Cherry/maple/barrel aged usually winning flavors in my book. Lighter than I was anticipating, more cherry ale with just a background of bourbon/maple notes. Not bad
