Dark licorice and molasses heavy. Dark fruits and bitterness throughout. Nice barrel and a growing booziness on the back end. Smooth and heavy.

Barrel is almost completely gone. Overwhelming chocolate flavor. Some roasted character on the back.

Holy roast Batman. Don’t think age has done this beer any favors. Roast is overtaking the barrel. Honestly at this point might prefer a 3+ year aged rugular founders imperial Stout.

Ash, licorice, booze, brown dried cherries. From 2019, not the best aged, showing signs of oxidation but also still real good.

Rich bourbon barrel nose, b/w caramel malt & nuttiness w/ a hint of chocolate. Silky full body, light carbonation. Roasted malt bitterness on the finish, mildly boozy, w/ notes of coffee & chocolate. Not overwhelming, but a solid BA stout.

Hitting the spot, but some sips are too boozy, even after all this time. Overall it’s a nice velvety blend of sweetness and bitterness.

Really good. Barrel aged. So much flavor it is smooth and dark.

A little boozy but nothing you can't get used to. Best paired with sweet potato Shepard pie
