Boozy, berry, and malty on the nose. Light head, medium lacing. Very palatable for a barleywine. Slightly fruity, boozy, very roasty. BlackPrinz or Pale Chocolate in this guy. Not my favorite style but I don’t mind this one.

The barrel is trying to sweeten things up, but the is still a strong, lingering, underlying bitterness.

Roasted malty barley wine with a sweet bourbon barrel flavor. Very bitter from the strong roast and barley.
