Once upon a time there was this magic bottle shop....

Classic KBS + hazelnut = yes please! Very good, does a bit of a Nutella thing.

Big fudgy chocolate-hazelnut aroma. The same comes through on the palate with a decided addition of whisky that warms quickly. Creamy & fluffy feel, not full bodied but medium-plus, almost like chocolate milk with very fine carbonation. Coffeeish edge.

Can't sit on the porch and watch the storm. All hells broken loose. High wind and rain coming down in sheets. Cheers! The chocolaty flavor always surprises me.

Nate may not approve of me splitting this beauty of a BA stout, but I always approve of this hazelnut brew. Charcoal licorice and maple cocoa hazelnut. Great example of tempered sweetness in a big dark beer.

Either this or the Expresso variation is my favorite variation of KBS. I go back and forth on it. Either way, cheers, it's stout weather on a beautiful day in North Carolina.

Nice bourbon and hazelnut, but not too sweet. Hides the alcohol well

Advent calendar #9. Hazelnut is still prominent, but I think it's mellowing.

Great beer, the hazelnut is not overpowering which is good.

Nice nutty aroma, very smooth body but lighter than ideal. Hides the abv well

An amazing aroma experience…like a very high-end Belgian hazelnut chocolate. Simply divine. The flavors are excellent as well, but it feels like it is starting to come apart a little bit. Two years might be the limit on this one.

Tastes like pouring hazelnut creamer into KBS…if hazelnut creamer was good.

#SpringCleaning #Beer #Frig It's a dirty job, but I get to do it.

It’s got that signature KBS roastiness. Hazelnut notes present. Faint barrel notes. Thanks Jonathan!
