Good stout, but compromised by the hazelnut. Enjoyable, but I usually like my stouts straight up. A lingering bitterness demotes this brew a bit.

Love hazelnuts, stouts, and Founders. What could go wrong?

I feared that this would be too sweet, but the opposite is true- too much bitterness overwhelming the tastes I craved.

Hazelnut up front, chocolate and coffee in the finish. Thick and viscous. Hazelnut goes well on the typical KBS recipe.

Not feeling the love as much as others here--hot take alert; hazelnut massive to the detriment of coffee & other trad flavors; less chewy as well, smoothness almost an idol au currant; barreling almost forgotten as well--brewing by committee?

Nutty, chocolate, bourbon. Lite coffee in finish. 11 months in brother’s wine cellar and tastes great!
