See previous reviews of various versions of KBS, this iteration with wonderfully subtle cherriliciousness but a little lacking in boozy, bourbony, intensity nor any more chocalick than other variants. A scosch better balanced though.

Much more subtle than I was anticipating, which is a good thing. Goes mostly dark chocolate with a kiss of cherry, but not syrupy, cloying, medicinal, etc. Real smooth at nearly 12% too.

KBS is one of my favorite breweries. Chocolate Cherry, but don’t smell or taste much Cherry even at room temperature. Fine with me, but Cherry flavor fans may be disappointed. Packs a 11.6% punch. Perfect for weekend mornings. Keep up the great work!

I’ve found a lot of cherry beers to have a medicinal taste to them. This one has a very subtle cherry flavor, making it very drinkable.
