First sip had a nice mix of chocolate and sweetness of the barrel being covered by the cherries. Over time I'm just getting more of that barrel aged sweetness but there are still notes of that roasty/chocolate... Cherry takes over

It’s on! Starting small - berry is more subtle than I expected but I’m not sure that’s bad. Chocolate is dominant. A bit sweet but finishes dark chocolate.

The aroma is like sticking your nose in a bourbon barrel while holding a cup of roasted coffee. The flavor is like eating dark chocolate covered cherries as you sip a sherry finished bourbon . This is my(cherry) jam!

Nice blend of cherry chocolate and bourbon.. just far enough with the cherry where any more and it would've been medicinal. Thanks wifey for grabbin it for me.

Good heavy beer with all the notes of cherry and chocolate. But, it just didn't have that mesmerizing character that I wanted from a boozy dark stout.
