A great nose of oak & a bit of chocolate behind it, w/ perhaps a microscopic, placebo amount of cherry as well. Lots of cocoa & sweet, charred oak, along w/ some syrupy, artificial cherry flavor, like a chocolate cherry cordial. Finishes dry, but sweet.

Lots of cocoa and a little cherry. Not bad at all. Wishing for a bit more of everything. Especially at the price!

This one probably is a mistake on a Tuesday when I have to wake up early on a Wednesday. Honestly not as satisfying as I was hoping. I don’t get the cherry flavor as much.

I've always enjoyed the original KBS when I could get my hands on it. This is another excellent variant. Not as good as the hazelnut, but a very smooth concoction with the cherry and chocolate.

It's very difficult to nail this type of beer imo. The cherry definitely adds cough syrup vibes and this just makes the fantastic kbs template significantly worse

I'm a little disappointed. This flavored KBS isn't as good as some of the others I've had. And I was so excited to try it... The pic is our wisteria - looks like it's going to do a full bloom this year.

Black as pitch, looks like old motor oil ;-) Dark chocolate aroma. Sweeter than I expected! Very rich chocolate flavor. Not getting much cherry. Not terribly bitter, either. Very enjoyable!

Rich boozy stout goodness. I'd say the favor dominance goes: whiskey > cherry > chocolate.

OH YEAH!!!!! Found another Founders KBS brew…. Chocolate Cherry Stout…. Aged in bourbon barrels, this one is top of the list (a step up from Ellicottville)…. More of the cherry tartness and still has that rich chocolate finish…. Be careful, higher ABV.
