I've always loved this brew, loads of malty caramel and spot on per style. At 8.5% & under $2.50Pint on the shelf, this year-round shelf sitter is way underrated and overlooked. Bottled 07/21/22

Very good Scottish ale with slightly sweet caramel flavor and a Smokey finish.

Aged bottled appropriate goodness to toast 2 of my oldest friends...we no longer get together for friends weddings...its now our kids weddings

This scotch ale reminds of a stout. A very malty beer with a dark and somewhat cerealy taste. The finish is roasty and bitter with dark chocolate notes. Although I really like this brew, it lacks peatiness for a scotch ale.

Great foretaste caramel sweet thick and rich but so much bitterness in the hops it is not as balanced as other wee heavies I have enjoyed. Would have rated 4 or higher but the lingering bitter aftertaste became less appealing.
