Even better than remembered. Maybe this year is just better

Decent scotch ale/wee heavy with sweet and malty bourbon notes. A bit boozy and could a bit more complexity. Decent overall but needed a bit more punch on the flavour.

This may have been a bad bottle. Just tasted off from what I remember or maybe less quality put into it with mass distribution.

Still phenomenal! And comes with free nostalgia for our Japan trip! Yum!

One of my favorite seasonal releases. So creamy, scotch and bourbon barrels, nice body.

Really nice example of a scotch ale. The vanilla is stellar. Cheers.

An absolutely wonderful “stout “ that was bourbon barrel aged but has a strong chocolate milkshake flavour. Very smooth despite a high ABV of 11%.

Incredible wee heavy ale. Prominent smoked peat moss, caramel notes. Malty, sweet.

Movie night(s) with the family, everything from Klaus and Elf to Gladiator and Sleeping w the Enemy (Claudia’s idea!). I enjoy movies on the lighter side, but take my beers sometimes boozy & bold!

A boozy brew with nice toffee notes, good maltiness and a full on hit of bourbon. Perfect for this time of year.

Still quite a good Scottish ale but I remember it being better

Caramel circus of rich malts, verging on buttery. Char, smoke and bourbon. Barrel tannins bloom late in the experience. This is always a treat and pairs perfectly with brother 🐝's home made brandy soaked fruit cake 🤓🤓🤓
