I had been missing this beer for 4 years so was pretty excited to find it again. Sadly it falls a bit flat for me. Feels like a watered down stout. Wishing it had more body and bitterness

Seems a bit muted compared to older batches. Seems thin/light. However, still a great beer.

Decent scotch ale/wee heavy with sweet and malty bourbon notes. A bit boozy and could a bit more complexity. Decent overall but needed a bit more punch on the flavour.

Sweet with dried fruits, fudge, caramel and vanilla. Tastes delicious with salted peanuts.

A little smoother and fleshier than previous batches. Still a bastard beer that evokes fond family memories.

Flasklagrad ett tag, lite boozy, rejält maltig och ganska söt. En del bourbon men inte som när den är färsk.

Bourbon spicy malty aroma. Bold bourbon, vanilla, earthy, oaky, spicy caramel malt flavors. Bourbon, vanilla, caramel malt aftertaste.

11% BBA Scotch Ale Very nice Founders brew. ABV is hidden. Plenty of barrel leads this malty brew.
