BBA aroma is almost non-existent. While the flavor is not too strong, the BBA flavor overpowers the flavor of the beer and takes center stage. Flavor of the beer is almost completely lost. Honestly, we didn’t check the labels and missed that this is BBA.

I'm not sure what I am drinking. nose is a little sweet and bready. but then taste is like a kind of boozy biscuity bourbon with a bite. yet it comes in a beer bottle. oddly enough I think I like it. will update after another one or two.

First time having a BA Oktoberfest, the barrel pushes back the malty bitter flavor of the traditional style. I like it but I’m a barrel nerd.

Malt, malt, malt, bourbon. Some dryness from the booze hits at the very end to make you dive back in. I'd rather have a weihenstephan but this is still a very nice way to welcome fall in

Another "barrel aged" winner from Founders. Malty while not to hoppy. Found this gem in Indianapolis over the weekend.

Appreciate them not just cranking out another KBS variant or Imperial Coffee Brown with their barrel stock, and this is enjoyable enough, just not seeing what purpose it serves. Fairly one dimensional.

Awesome beer. Lots of layers, great barrel flavors and very little alcohol in the profile.

Not a style I usually go for but anything Founders barrel ages is always good and this is no exception. One of the easiest drinking barrel aged beers I've ever had.

Characteristic Oktoberfest flavors are definitely in there, but the strongest flavor is bourbon.

Not for me. A touch fusel, some generic fruit and mild toast. Surprisingly boring for a 10% bb beer.

Meh, comes off more boozy on the front then I’d like. Finishes with the Marzen flavor.
