Decent, although the more stuff like this I try, the more I think that not a lot of beer styles can hold up to this degree of barrel-aging. The usual malty character of an Oktoberfest is drowning in bourbon. (What a way to go that would be...)

Can definitely taste the barrel aged. Matly, slightly sweet. Slighty boozy. Pretty damn good.

Cullen S. ended my Founders hiatus. Glad this is what did it. Phenomenal!

Sweet, malty, and boozy. Something about it is a bit off for me.

Nice bourbon finish- makes this a very unique Oktoberfest!

Really crisp Marzen with an unexpected bourbon boost. Thanks, Laura.

Equal parts meh and shellac. Easily my least favorite BBA in a long time.

Heavy bourbon notes, mild finish. Would like a little more nutmeg/cinnamon hint.

Closing with one more butt-kickin' beer. Wishing it had a richer malt character.

The bourbon barrel did this beer a favor. Big pretzel flavors, barrel aged and caramely yet darkish malt. Very mature.
