The barrel age thins this out and almost makes this seem light but there's a little heat in the finish to remind you this is actually a big boy. I like the idea of this but execution misses the mark IMO

Sulking that I don't like this as much as I thought I would. Kinda warm and boozy. But, the caramel maltiness I love about Oktoberfests is mostly hidden.

It is super smooth. Definitely strong bourbon notes..does not feel overly Oktoberfest

Actually underwhelming, like most marsten style beers. Did not improve with age.

Not necessary but tasty. Barrel provides some butterscotch and caramel. Smooth and slightest boozy

Solid märzen base with a comforting snickerdoodle type aftertaste. Presence of the barrel aging is present, but not overwhelming.

I have yet to find anything from Founders that I didn't like. Good beer. Clean finish.

Smooth, oaky, boozy. notes of bourbon and vanilla that overpower the beer itself, finishing with a slight caramel finish. Thanks Seany!

Was saving this bad boy for a while. Interesting twist to the Oktoberfest style. Really lose the normal Oktoberfest flavors, but man does that barrel age bitch slap you in the face. Pretty solid stuff, 10% banger.

This does not taste like a 10% ABV beer. It goes down far too easily.

A shot of bourbon with a bit of malt slipped in to tame the fire a bit. Strong for sure, but disappointingly unbalanced. Eh, I guess I'll drink it anyway, though... Hate to see 10% go to waste!
