I'm a amazed and gleefully happy about this one, it has a tinge of Octoberfest in it but I'm not complaining. The sweetness coming from the malt does give a fest like finish or a Belgium dark, either works. Yummy.

Sweet and tasty, but actually, inferior to the Founders Octoberfest which is a fabulous expression of a Marzen.

Imperial fest beer. Pleasantly less sweet. Bourbon took me a while but enjoyed.

Interesting, bourbon is subtle but those marzen flavors are not there. I don’t think this works well together but it’s not bad

Was kinda underwhelmed by this one. Hides the 10% really well, but just didn't have much going for it in terms of flavor.

Oktoberfest aged in bourbon barrells. 10 abv. So so smooth. Good nose, good color, fabulous taste with no inconsistencies. Barrel does not take away but adds to the beer. For the style, honestly it's amazing.

Lots of barrel. Very sweet. Lovely dahlia bouquet that Pete got from the market to win mother in law brownie points!

A 10% barrel-aged marzen. Sounds amazing, but this isn’t blowing me away. Subtle barrel and the sweetness normally found in Oktoberfest beers isn’t there. Still quite good.

Not my favorite Founders beer, but my favorite beer drinking situation, evening dog walk. “Hey tree, hold my beer, I gotta pee”.

Nicer than I thought it would be wow. Still sweet and full bodied with a little character not some barrel bomb. Malt is superseded with oak earthy heat though. Drinkable at 10% Prost!

Good Ultimate Oktoberfest! Smooth and malty. I can subtly taste the Bourbon. Definetly doesn't taste like a 10% ABV brew! 🍻

Nicely boozy, but I wasn’t unhappy with Founders regular Oktoberfest. A sipper at 10%.

Tastes like a watered down whiskey, I don’t get the Oktoberfest feel at all.
