Maple syrup and coffee on the nose. Sweet maple syrup notes hit right away. Chocolate transitions to licorice. Vanilla on the back end which fishies with boozy bourbon notes. Sweet, coffee finish. Absolutely delicious. Founders is King.

Another winner for Founders. Vanilla notes hit first, then some mild booziness with a hint of maple syrup. At 9.2% it is not overpowering, but still it is a sipper for me.

Coffee, sweet maple caramel aroma. Smooth. Lots of coffee and roast. Medium mouthfeel. Light bourbon. Reminds of CBS just lighter and more affordable. Balanced sweetness and bitterness. A bigger body would make this perfect, but a very nice BBA porter.

Great beer as always from Founders. Big vanilla punch with a dark coffee taste. The imperial really comes through. Great beer. Love it!

So good! Totally velvety and elegant. The vanilla and maple are the stars but the ABV is low enough to enjoy and simmer on. The lack of sickening sweetness makes this one better than most of the Founders BBA in my opinion

Sensational. Kinda spicy vanilla with a maple kicker at the end. CoCheez and Chad, you gotta get this.

For people who don’t like barrel aged beers (lol), this is definitely for you. This is an incredibly approachable BA porter that is rich in flavor without too much a bourbon taste to it. Lots of vanilla, with a smooth warmth to it. Phenomenally done.
