Sweet maple tones, very dark and smooth

This was way too easy drinking in a good way. Nice light vanilla with maple hint.

It's nice when a porter is done well and this 1 is. Very smooth and drinkable, my gripe is that it has an off vanilla flavor imo. I realize the label says vanilla extract but that doesn't cover what I'm experiencing. Having said that it still a good beer.

That initial flavor was big maple and vanilla. Subsequent tastes give a bigger booze presence than the abv. Maple and vanilla have good representation here.

Definitely a little more sweet than I like. Combo of maple and vanilla is a bit extra. More roast needed.

I am trying to make up my mind about it. Interesting flavor at the top, but not necessarily great. I guess its overly mapley. but ultimately a good beer. If it weren't for that strong maple thing it would be a GREAT beer

Aroma smells amazing, palate doesn’t quite measure up. Tastes a bit hot from the bourbon, not too sweet though the maple syrup is there
