The maple really comes through on the nose, along w/ everything else, really conjuring that French toast image. The original base ale taste is still present, & while the barrel creates a complex flavor, the other added notes really sweeten the deal.

Tastes like straight butterscotch. It smells better than it tastes IMOA. It's not bad but just tastes too fake to me, sorry.

I remember really loving this stuff when I originally tried it and itโs really strong and warm and so, so sweet with maple and vanilla. Not what I want to drink all the time but I could see this being a great prelude to a savory breakfast.

Smells like cinnamon and vanilla. Taste is the same. Sweeter as it warms. Zero hint of the barrel or the 11%. Good beer.
