I like their original porter, but was definitely surprised by this one. The vanilla really amplifies this, and it punches above its weight class.

First since slaps you in the face with vanilla. Second sip, not as much. By the third sip there is only a hint. Then a pretty good porter with a bitter-ish finish shines though. I think I prefer their regular porter, but this ain’t bad.

Hm. Not bad, but not up to my usual Founders standard. (Which has an admittedly pretty high bar for me.) Lots of chocolate notes, but they don't hit the right chord. Good balance of vanilla though.

Can smell the vanilla … pretty strong … tastes ok, but I am not a fan of the aftertaste… not really bitter with a reported 45 IBUs 🤷♀️
