Typical of Founders, the taste is bold and coffee forward. The chocolate is more retiring but slightly sweet. The beer is labelled “double chocolate coffee oatmeal stout” but coffee notes seem to dominate. Never had anything from Founders I disliked.

This is often a go-to for a dessert pairing… And it does not disappoint. Bit of a coffee flavor to this brew, and really stood out with the banana cupcake.

This grew in me. This was a 2.25 and it was spot promoted. Coffee flavor with some oatmeal nut flavor.

Smooth coffee and chocolate. Mild and somewhat milky.

Nice coffee taste with just a hint of oatmeal. It would be better without the oatmeal. Still very good!
