Geruch: Karamell, milder Whisky. Geschmack: milder whisky, Torf, Schoko. Holzig-Rauchig im Abgang. Nachgeschmack hält sehr lange an. Ein Bier bei dem etwas länger verweilt. Hintenraus wird es etwas bitterer. Aber auch leichte Espressonoten kommen durch.

My second check in pretty much confirms my first, it has the sharp taste rather than the smoothness, nothing around is as good as Lake Louis Scotch Ale!

Haven't gotten into Founders for awhile but thought I'd give this old favorite Scottish Ale a whirl It's as good as I remember and I found a sixer for $7.99 WOW! I'm used to paying double that and more. Smooth ale but I still miss Founders Imperial stout

Rich layered and well blended flavors - reminiscent of aged fruit without being fruity. One of our favorite nightcap beers to share and savor.
