Dirty Bastard

Scotch Ale / Wee Heavy

So good it’s almost wrong. Dark ruby in color and brewed with seven varieties of imported malts. Complex in finish, with hints of smoke and peat, paired with a malty richness and a right hook of hop power to give it the bad attitude that a beer named Dirty Bastard has to live up to. Ain’t for the wee lads.

Interesting find. Doesn’t taste as dark as it looks. I do like scotch style ales.

Needed something heavy and malty to end the day after the work computer repair turned it into a brick.

Damn frosted glass for this?? 😖. After it warms, though, sweet and malty. Warms the innards on a cold day.

It’s been ten years since the last time I’ve had this, it still holds up to the last time. Reminds me of the holidays with a dark stone fruit cake feel.
