Malty and boozy. Sitting outside even though it’s still humid. Overall a pretty solid beer.

Not a fan of the new labels. Not sure if it’s a new recipe too or not, but it’s more bitter now, not even half the malt complexity as before. But still, $10 for a six pack of 8.5% beer? Great deal.

Malty, sweet, molasses. Reminds me strongly of german Pumpernickel bread. Nice!

Bottled 3/23. Rich spiced toffee, strong bread. Lifted away by a firm but discreetly bitter finish. Solid, balanced drop.

8.5% Scotch Ale I really enjoy a Wee Heavy, and this is no exception. Smooth with a good mouthfeel and a flavor that coats your mouth (in this case, that’s a good thing). Malty with notes of dried fruits, hopped up (pun intended) by generous use of hops.

A lot different this year. Smoother and slightly sweet. A good summer refresher.

De geur is top, het lijkt wel whiskey. Een mooie bruine schuimkraag die wel snel weg is. De smaak nog niet zo top maar dat komt nog wel als het bier iets warmer is dan nu +/- 6 graden.

Looking for a dark beer, and this was about all there was to choose from. But great choice! I really like the taste! The flavor profile, from malty to caramel, is great.
