Typische Belgische rakker. Niet uitgesproken, wel goed te doen

Drove to my mother-in-law's to check to see if she was ok since she wasn't answering her phone and husband was out of town. I took one of his beers for the trouble, and she is ok. Phone was turned off

My second check in pretty much confirms my first, it has the sharp taste rather than the smoothness, nothing around is as good as Lake Louis Scotch Ale!

malty, roasty, toffee. feels a little thin and short toward the end. prefer barrel-aged ones

A nice meal in a glass. Great flavor and heavy scotch flavor.

Carmel and roasty nose. First sip is a rush of burnt and bitterness. But it’s smooth. It fades into a carmel and sweetness. It’s a good scotch ale. The high abv gives it a nice malty pop at the back end. Easy to drink for a 8.5% beer. Would have more.

A little sweet and boozy light but heavy over time

Screwed up my calendar. I'm away for 2 nights and brought my beers along. Picked the wrong one tonight. Tonight I'm living in the future. The future is lots of malty, boozy goodness.
