Big and boozy. Lots of chocolate and coffee notes. The bourbon barrel adds nice flavor

The '23 vintage tastes damn good! It has all the great attributes of its predecessors: coffee, chocolate, roastiness, retaining the booziness from its time aging in bourbon barrels. Excellent.

4+. On one hand, it's a shadow of its former self. On the other hand it has a price point that makes its sole competitor Dragon's Milk. KBS is better.

Finally tried this. Coffee, liquorice, bourbon. Smooth. A touch thin but still very enjoyable. Goes down well on a rainy Hilo evening😁. Damn tasty👍

Far from the best vintage, feels the barrels tastes a bit too perfumy, need more vanilla and bourbon.
