Bottled on 04.02.2024. Ten years since last try so interesting to try again. Caramel, pine, citrus, floral with a nice bitterness.

Big Worster (Chardonnay Barrel Aged) (2012) Gunnar
Nice vintage BW, surprisingly drinkable for the abv. Noticeable alcohol burn going down the throat. Dried fruit and wine barrel noticeable in the flavor.

Far from the best vintage, feels the barrels tastes a bit too perfumy, need more vanilla and bourbon.

Oxidation is present, well rounded, sweet and bitter with a hint of cardboard. Not bad but wouldn't keep for much longer.

Fun with loads of barnyard, sweaty horse and earthy notes on the aroma. Flavor is cloudberry, apricot and gooseberry with alot of acidity. Nice development!

HORAL's Oude Geuze Mega Blend (2021) Gunnar
Sadly very overcarbonated and gushed out of the bottle when opening. Flavor is there but gets ruined slightly by the high carbonation. One of the weakest Megablends so far.

Honey melon, mango, very subtle tropical fruit notes and maybe a tad too much wheat and oats. Very grainy. Nice mouthfeel tho.

That's so good, thick, smooth with superbly balanced flavors of bourbon, dark chocolate, vanilla, roasted malts, coffee with a perfect balance between the sweetness and bitterness.

Can't believe this is non-alcoholic. Nice mouthfeel, yuzu and citrusy with a lovely sour twist.

Beer Geek Brunch Weasel Gunnar
This has held up so good over the years. Even in this pastry world this beer from 2013/2014 is so smooth, well balanced, without hints of oxidation, maybe slightly more vinous than fresh and brewed locally. Love it!

Nice, proper, West Coast ipa. Caramely and bitter with a nice hop profile and full bodied mouthfeel. Stone fruit and tropical fruits.
