10 years old and drinking absolutely superb. Some oxidative soy sauce notes but the hops do their job to both preserve and flavor the beer. Fine bubbles. Gentle brett. Fruity, estery, vinous, just fantastic to the face for the superbowl

Two December 24, 2013 bottlings came for Xmas at my home. By chance, not planned - fancy that! 🤣 10 friends gathered for a joyful feast. These were fantastic! LOVE OLD IRIS! 🤩

Tea, barnyard funk, and a woodiness to it. Very unique, crazy how Iris holds up and how much variation there is as it evolves. #BottleConditioned

Very vinous and perfumy on the nose. Sharp, dandelions and some sweet herbs and jasmine rice. Cardboard. This is not a good beer.

Fremdeles ganske bitter. Ganske tørr. Litt karamell, tørka frukt, oksidering er tydelig.

Oxidation is present, well rounded, sweet and bitter with a hint of cardboard. Not bad but wouldn't keep for much longer.

Pours a dark orange with a thick off white head showing good retention. Aroma and flavor shows notes of old hops, barnyard funk, cereal grains, and a subtle tartness. Medium bodied with good carb and slight bitterness on finish. Held up nicely. Amazing.

Première Iris, c'est spécial. Gros côté caramel, funk de fond de cave. Au début très tart, mais ça s'adoucit en respirant. Bonne amertume. Ça goûte un peu la pâte à modeler, ceux qui en mangeait jeune sauront.
