Roast. Bitter and malty, but Fairly well balanced, allowing chocolate and other adjuncts to shine through. Let it warm. $4

Black coffee and chocolate initially. Toasty throughout and finished very boozy. The alcohol after taste was almost inconsistent where some sips were smoother than others. As it warmed up the booze came through more on the nose. Solid for mass produced

Very similar taste profile to the Breakfast Stout I just had but, boozier, less chocolate, more bitter. Especially in the long finish. Remarkably consistent.

A shame that Founders started watering down this beer (after they sold out). SMH.

Not nearly as good as I remember the vintage ones I've tried. Roasty coffee with a certain bourbon flavor, but it's lacking sweetness and depth.

Chocolate and coffee going on, a very complex beer not a smooth as I would have liked. Strong and sweet.
