Zwart met stevig bruin schuim. Ruikt inderdaad naar koffie en pure chocolade, maar doet me ook aan rode wijn denken. Uiteraard ook koffie en chocola in de mond met ook iets van brood, rozijnen en wat rood fruit. Stevig en boozy met een mooi palet.

KBS has been a regular in my stout rotation for years. Such a great blend of coffee and bourbon flavors. Perfect head/lacing, which I’ve found is a characteristic common to almost all Founders brews. One of the best representations of the BBA stout style.

Used coffee grounds, dark chocolate, slightly acrid. Opaque black with tan head. Very rich dark chocolatey taste; smooth, with some burnt/roasted Weetabix behind but surprisingly little alcohol sweetness or warmth (builds over time).

Непонятен рейтинг, возможно зажрался, выбирая интересные варианты🤔🤓 Ну да, неплохо, если слаще морковки ничего не пробовал. Плотность маловата, бочка пустовата, да и вообще всё гладко и ровненько (кофе-шоколад, дерево-бурбон), но на минималках...
