Vi höjer denna. Riktigt bra! Har lagrat den ett tag så kanske har den blivit bättre? Choklad, kaffe… Slösmuttade så kände procenten först i huvudet. Känner dock av procenten i smaken på slutet av flaskan.

Circa 2019, it's aged very well. A little more sweet but thicker than thick feel in the mouth. Very rich. Very deep.

Just your casual 12%-er for happy hour. 🫠 This is a damn good beer. Perfect balance of coffee, chocolate, and barrel aging. Wow.

Founders tasting #2 Classic bourbon barrel aged stout, some sweetness, some richness, a subtle bourbon finish. Thicker than the previous beer. Appreciate the clarity of the flavor in comparison.

On to original KBS. Pours thicker than breakfast stout and smells boozier. Almost seems smoother, and it’s roasty in the finish rather than upfront. Had it previously rated as a 4.25 but I’m bumping it up to a 4.5

The coffee and chocolate are slightly overpowered by the bourbon from the barrel ageing. Smooth and full bodied.

Eleven years, properly cellared. Nary a whisper upon cracking. Dark chocolate, mild coffee, and booze dominate a beautiful nose. Flavor still delicious, albeit past it's prime. Smooth chocolate and bourbon with some good wood flavors. Always enjoyable
